About this event

Join us on 27 April 2022 for an interactive session when Majid Hassan (Clinical Law Partner) will be in conversation with:

  • Dr Denise Chaffer – Director of Safety & Learning at NHS Resolution and President of the Royal College of Nursing.
  • Dr Tajek Hassan – Consultant in Emergency Medicine and immediate past President of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
  • Dr Alex Crowe – Deputy Director for Incentive Schemes & Academic Partnerships at NHS Resolution

We will be exploring further the learning from Emergency Medicine compensation claims identified in NHS Resolutions three recently published reports covering: 1)high-value and fatality-related claims, 2) missed fractures and 3) hospital acquired pressure ulcers and falls. If you have not yet read the reports you can find them here.

The panel will discuss the aims of the thematic reviews, the reports’ findings and importantly what’s next from a learning perspective.

Register now to be part of the conversation and have opportunity to put questions directly to the panel (1 hour). Followed by opportunity to share with local colleagues your own experiences in regional breakout rooms alongside our clinical law experts (30 minutes).

This webinar will be of interest to Clinicians, Claims Managers, Legal Services, Department Heads and Directors in NHS Trusts.
