About this event
Join Capsticks at their forthcoming webinar on 19 May where our speakers will unravel the duty of candour and the myths which surround it.
The obligations created by the Duty of Candour continue to cause confusion and expose providers to the risk of prosecution by the CQC, such as the case brought against University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust last year. The CQC have recently issued new guidance on the legal requirements in order to make it clearer.
Rebecca Richardson (partner) will be joined by Ian Cooper (partner) and Jennifer Harris (senior solicitor) to explore the new guidance, the Plymouth case and provide you with a clear understanding of what is, and what is not, a ‘candour case’ and the implications of saying sorry.
This webinar will be of interest to professionals in NHS Trusts and private healthcare.
Attendees will be treated to an engaging and lively discussion from our speakers and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.
