About this event

Kennedys’ healthcare team are delighted to be holding the second seminar of their 2020 annual healthcare seminar programme.

Guest speaker – Mr Ian Wade QC, Assistant Coroner for East London, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire
Mr Ian Wade QC graduated from Pembroke College in Cambridge in 1976 and was called to the bar in 1977 and appointed Queens Counsel in 2010.

His career evolved from a mixed common law and family practice to concentrate exclusively on crime from the 1990s, prosecuting and defending serious sexual assaults and homicides.

Mr Wade became Assistant Deputy Coroner for West London in 2012 under the old coronial legislation and Assistant Coroner for Mid-Kent and Medway in 2014, after the 2009 Act Reforms were brought into force in 2013. He then went on to sit on the Standards Committee of the Bar Standards Board before leaving the bar in 2015 to pursue his current career.
