The following information was requested:
I am writing to request similar details as included in the FOI_6519 from May 2024.
Would you be able to provide the same level of detail for the last 5 years (2019/20 to 2023/24) but where the primary speciality is radiology and the primary cause is either Failure to Interpret
X-Ray, Failure/Delay Diagnosis, Fail/Delay Treatment, Fail to Act on Abnormal Test Res or Wrong Diagnosis.
AND
Where the primary injury is Brain Damage, Stroke, Rupture or Aneurysm.
Please also include, in addition, a breakdown of the trusts involved with these claims. Please aggregate the data over the last 5 years.
Please include the damages paid, NHS legal costs, Claimant legal costs and total paid.
I understand that figures below 5 claims may need to be masked in accordance with your data protection guidelines, and I would be grateful for any approximated totals where reverse calculation prevention is necessary.
