The following information was requested:
“I am conducting some research on employment tribunals, whistleblowing and discrimination cases within the NHS.
I am trying to find out the following
1. The number of staff who have raised whistleblowing concerns within NHS Trusts, been dismissed by their trust, only to have been found unfairly dismissed by an employment tribunal. The amount paid out in compensation to individuals in these instances
2. The number of staff who have raised allegations/ concerns surrounding discrimination within NHS trusts, been dismissed by their trust only to have been found unfairly dismissed by an employment tribunal. The amount paid out in compensation to individuals in these instances.
I wondered whether this information is held by yourselves and therefore I need to send an FOI request – OR whether I would need to FOI every NHS Trust within the country.
Do let me know what would be most appropriate.”
