User Quick Guide

This set of short ‘how to’ videos takes Practitioner Performance Advice Service users through each of the steps required to request Advice and manage cases within the online portal. Each video is segmented into chapters to provide easy access to the content the user is looking to view.

1.    Dashboard tour and portal navigation

Gain a broad overview of the Practitioner Performance Advice Service online portal, with a tour of the user dashboard and an introduction to the navigation controls, features and functions.

2.    Request Advice about a practitioner

Learn how to use the online service portal to request Advice about a practitioner, including how to: enter all of the required practitioner details and the reason for the request. This is the specific information that is required to be completed in order to open a new case and schedule an appointment with an Adviser.

3.    Request other types of Advice 

Learn how to use the online service portal to request other types of Advice, including general advice not about a practitioner and about a possible intervention involving multiple practitioners. Understand the difference in the tasks required to make these requests and how to enter all of the required details and the reason for the request. This is the specific information that is required to be completed in order to open a new case and schedule an appointment with an Adviser.

4.    Request an intervention on a single practitioner for a Clinical Performance or Behavioural Assessment

Learn how to use the online service portal to request a Clinical Performance or Behavioural Assessment of an individual practitioner. This includes: the process required to be completed to make the request, the downloading and uploading of Agreements to Assessment, and accessing of Intervention Consideration (ICG) outcome letters and final reports.

5.    Request Professional Support and Remediation

Learn how to use the online service portal to request Professional Support and Remediation (Action plans), including how to: download and upload the appropriate documents and final reports in the Case View.

6.    Request a Team Review or Assisted Mediation

Learn how to use the online service portal to request a Team Review or Assisted Mediation, when requiring interventions involving multiple practitioners, including how to: download and upload the appropriate referral forms and access documents.
