Profile
Neil joined Practitioner Performance Advice service as an Adviser in 2004, mainly working in secondary care in the south-east of England.
He is particularly interested in the health and wellbeing of doctors. He is keen to support medical managers in using formal guidance but being less formulaic and process bound, and more able to identify flexible and individual solutions to problems.
Clinically he was a Consultant Psychiatrist in Barnet for over 20 years, retiring in 2011. He was Medical Director and Joint Medical Director in Barnet and in Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust for some 8 years up to 2003.
