The following information was requested:
I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act, please can you provide the following:
- Number of claims made for ‘failure/delay in diagnosis’ and/or ‘wrong diagnosis’ for FLT3-ITD mutations for the following years and by NHS trust 2019 to 2023
- Value of claims successfully closed or settled where the Primary Cause is failure/delay in diagnosis or wrong diagnosis.
Is it possible to identify from this information patients who are hemato-oncology? I assume these individuals are covered by haematology. But the “Failure/Delay Diagnosis” code would be appropriate for my information request.
