I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act, can you please provide the following:
1. The number of claims against NHS Trusts in the last five years (Between April 6-April 5 2019-2024) for dental negligence. Broken down by year, primary cause, by injury and by NHS Trust.
2. Number and Cost of Clinical Claims for dental negligence that have been Closed (or settled with a periodical payment order) between financial years 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, with damages payments. Can the data include the damages and legal costs paid up until the end of each financial year of closure, or for PPO matters, year of settlement. Broken down by year, primary cause, by injury and by NHS Trust.
