About this event

Join Hill Dickinson for the first of their three training webinars covering employers’ liability (EL) and public liability (PL) claims.

Designed for NHS Trust Legal and Claims teams, these sessions will delve into the key information you need to know to ensure your claims process runs efficiently and with the requisite quality, leading to a better resolution for all parties involved.

In the first session, chaired by Ian Gardiner, Tom Lomas and John Wafer will look at the essentials, including:

  • a run-through of Portal claims, including what claims are reported, Claim Notification Forms, key requirements to consider, insurer obligations, making admissions and denials, and the respective consequences;
  • an overview of the EL/PL legal framework;
  • an introduction to investigations;
  • key documents to maintain and consider during the claims process and;
  • assessing liability, the legal elements needed to establish a claim and what is needed for a robust defence.

They hope you can join these informative sessions.
