Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information about the Great Western Hospital that is held by NHS Resolution:
1. How many clinical claims have been made against Great Western Hospital maternity services from 2019 until 2024?
2. How many of these claims were for deaths of mothers, stillbirths or neonatal deaths (occurring within 2 weeks of birth)? Please provide a breakdown of each over the span of the five-year period above.
3. How many of these claims had payouts? And what was the total money paid out each year?

Thank you for your email. We are now dealing with it, but I would like to clarify that we can provide claims data for the trust, not for individual hospital, so for Great Western Hospitals NHS
Foundation Trust.
