Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following information:
- A breakdown of dentistry medical negligence claims against the NHS by primary injury, with the
respective number of claims, claims settled and damages paid between the 6th April 2020 and
5th April 2025. - A breakdown of dentistry medical negligence claims against the NHS by primary cause, with the
respective number of claims, claims settled and damages paid between the 6th April 2020 and
5th April 2025. - The monetary value NHS trusts in England paid out for dentistry claims between 6th April 2020
and 5th April 2025. - The number of medical negligence claims pertaining to dental care which have been lodged
against NHS trusts between the 6th April 2020 and 5th April 2025. Of these claims, please also
provide a figure for how many have been settled and what the total compensation amounts to. - The most common injury leading to a dentistry negligence claim, how many claims there have
been for this, how many were settled and what the damages totalled between 6th April 2020
and 5th April 2025. - Please provide a breakdown of all NHS trusts, showing the respective number of dentistry
medical negligence claims, the number of claims settled with damages, as well as the damages
paid for each of the following tax years: 2020/2021, 2021/2022, 2022/2023, 2023/2024,
2024/2025.
