Sexual Abuse (FOI_5730)
The following information was requested:
As discussed, we are in the process of looking into sexual abuse and misconduct in the NHS. I spotted an FOI you published in summer, FOI_5468_Sexual-Abuse.pdf.
In your reply to the FOI, you mention codes you are able to run your data on – namely sexual abuse. Would it be possible to rerun your data to get the most up to date figures? Please could you provide both the amount paid out up to April 22 and the number of claims repudiated – i.e. where no damages were paid?
I’m also confused as to what chart 1 shows – what do these codes stand for – CNST, DH CL, ELS?
I would also like to request a full breakdown of claims by trust.

Removal of Testicle (FOI_5728)
The following information was requested:
1. In (i) 2021/2022 how many claims has the NHSLA paid out where the injury code has been removal of testicle and what was the total value paid out in damages for such claims?
2. Please state how many “removal of testicle” claims were linked to each separate type of cause code e.g. (wrong diagnosis, operation on wrong part of body etc.).

Undiagnosed insufficiency fractures (FOI_5726)
The following information was requested:
I would be grateful if you could make available to me information regarding the incidence of claims arising from undiagnosed insufficiency fractures throughout England going back as far as records are kept (15 years would be adequate). For the sake of clarity, I am not asking about general fractures but the type of stress fracture where normal stresses cause fracture on abnormal bone – I want to exclude fatigue and pathological fractures.

My first request said about leaving out fatigue and pathological fractures could we include these after all please but maybe listed separately if possible.
