Can you please provide the following information on NHS Resolution’s Early Notification Scheme:
1. Information and/ or publications which NHS Resolution provides to families whose baby meets the Early Notification criteria. Please include information and/ or publications
provided to families throughout the entire length of the Early Notification process, and information and/ or publications which NHS Resolution asks Trusts to provide to families.

We are mainly interested in the obstetric claims and whilst obviously we appreciate the confidentiality we would be grateful for as much information as you can provide to help our
efforts to understand these cases.
In particular we are interested in
a) year of case/settlement
b) allegations
c) which NHS Trust was involved +/- co-defendants
d) damages paid
We are surprised that in relation to brain damage the number of cases of cerebral and Erb’s palsy in Table 4 is under 5 and wonder if there is an explanation for these low numbers that we are not appreciating?

In a previous FoI response [Ref FoI_3040] you gave details on the number of times you engaged private detectives to investigate a potential claimants’ day-to-day activities.
This response provided data for 2013/14, 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17. Could you now supply similar data, including cases where exaggeration of injury was observed, for
(i) 2017/18 (ii) 2018/19, and (iii) 2019/20.

Vaccination programme
The following information was requested:
We are enquiring about any data your organisation may have in relation to the swine flu vaccination programme and in particular:
1/ Data about the quantum of claims made in relation to the swine flu vaccination programme
2/ Any data surrounding injury claims following vaccinations (including associated errors) for the swine flu pandemic and also non-swine flu related claims.
AND
To make the data easier and simpler to define could we ask for:
1/ The number of claims made in relation to swine flu and the value of claims made in total to date broken down if possible to those involving narcolepsy claims and claims for other reasons such as injury at site of vaccination etc.
2/ The number of claims made in the 5 year period to 2020 in relation to alleged errors in the administration of injections (any injection not just swine flu) split into number of claims and value of claims for each of the following :
a/ errors made by the clinician in drawing the correct amount of injection liquid
b/ error in the administration process (resulting in injury such as shoulder injury)
c/ errors classified as dilution errors when reconstituting the injection
