Please can you provide me with
- the number of claims made for compensation for the NHS
- the number of claims that were made for sexual assault/sexual misconduct by a health professional
- the amount paid out per year for claims relating to sexual assault/sexual misconduct by a health professional claims relating to sexual assault/sexual misconduct by a health professional by organisation that the claim relates to (e.g. hospital)
If you do not capture that data, please still send what you have and just note you do not capture that.
I’d like the data by year for every year since 2015 or the earliest from when it is captured on your non-manual systems.
Please can you also tell me what data you capture about compensation claims and the system/software which you use to record these.

- Please can you confirm the number of clinical claims received, where the fatality is stillbirth, for the below calendar years*.

The following information was requested:
I would like to request data relating to claims made in the specialty of Obstetrics and Gynaecology from financial years 2006/07 up to and including 2024/25. I would like to specifically request information on:
(i) the number of clinical claims/incidents made per financial year.
(ii) the number of clinical claims closed (or settled as a PPO) per financial year and the associated costs (damages paid, NHS legal costs paid, claimant legal costs paid) incurred per financial year.
(iii) Of all the clinical claims closed/settled during this period (2006/07-2022/23), a breakdown of the primary causes as well as the costs (damages paid, NHS legal costs paid, claimant legal costs paid) associated with each primary cause.
(iv) the number of unsuccessful (i.e. with nil damages paid) clinical claims during this period (2006/07-2024/25) with their associated NHS legal costs paid and claimant legal costs paid.

The following information was requested:
I am writing to request information under the Freedom of Information Act regarding clinical claims and incidents received by NHS Resolution where the Specialty is ‘Gastroenterology’.
Specifically, I request the following:
1. Number of Clinical Claims and Incidents received where the Specialty is ‘Gastroenterology’ (for gastrointestinal issues that may be misdiagnosed as bowel cancer), split by Trust and primary injury.
2. Number and cost of Clinical Claims Closed or Settled with damages paid, where the Specialty is ‘Gastroenterology’ (for gastrointestinal issues misdiagnosed as bowel cancer), split by Trust, primary injury, and primary cause.

For the NHSR accounting year 2023/24, in respect of the Claimant’s costs paid in all clinical negligence scheme claims that concluded with a payment of damages that did not exceed £25,000:
a) How much was paid for legal costs
b) How much was paid for disbursements
c) How much was paid for VAT
Organisation’s total expenditure (FOI_7081)

Please provide the following information for the 2022-23 and 2023-24 financial years:
1. The total income your organisation received from the government in each year.
2. Your organisation’s total expenditure in each year.
3. Your organisation’s total staff headcount in each year.
4. The year in which your organisation was originally founded
For the purposes of this FOI, income from the government refers to all income you received from the UK government. This is most likely in the form of government grants but could also be through other mechanisms.
Total expenditure refers to the total amount of money your organisation spent in each financial year. If this is not available, please provide net expenditure and identify it as such.
Your organisation’s headcount refers to the total number of staff employed during each financial year. If a total headcount is not available, please provide the full-time equivalent figure and identify it as such.
The year in which your organisation was founded refers to the initial founding of the organisation rather than a name change. Please provide the earliest possible date for this.
