Claims relating to Nitrous Oxide (FOI_7902)

The following information was requested:

I am writing to request the following information from NHS Resolution under the Freedom of Information Act 2000:

For 2019 onwards (please break down by year):

1) The number of claims made in relation to Entonox gas exposure in the workplace, broken down by NHS trust

a) For each NHS trust, please provide a total value of claims settled

b) Please also specify whether the claims were made by staff or patients.

[On 19 May, you clarified]

I am not sure what code this would apply to – could you please help me to choose the correct one?

I am after claims which have been submitted by staff who were exposed to nitrous oxide (known as gas and air).

Advice cases by the individual country of qualification (FOI_7901)

The following information was requested:

In each of the last five years, I am looking for the number of Practitioner Performance Advice cases involving Behaviour/misconduct or other clinical or health concerns by the individual country of qualification – i.e. to breakdown categories like “outside the EEA”.

You publish statistics for doctor PPA cases which relate the number of complaints by country of qualification to the number of doctors in the workforce who have that region of qualification (UK, EEA, non-EEA). So is it also possible to get the number of Practitioner Performance Advice cases involving doctors which involve Behaviour/misconduct or other clinical or health concerns by the individual country of qualification – and the corresponding number of doctors in the workforce so that I can make similar odds rations by individual country of qualification.
