Please could you provide the following information, split by individual NHS Hospital Trusts for the financial years 2022-23 and 2023-24:
1. Pressure Sores Data:
– The total number of patients who developed pressure sores (also known as bed sores or pressure ulcers) during their stay at each NHS Hospital Trust.
– This figure as a percentage of all patients admitted to beds in each trust.
Note: If the data cannot be provided for all patients admitted to beds, please provide any available data on bed sore incidence in hospital inpatients.
2. Litigation Cases Related to Pressure Sores:
– The number of litigation cases brought against each NHS Hospital Trust, specifically due to pressure sores.
– The total financial cost of these cases to each trust.
