The following information was requested:
I previously submitted an FOI request which was responded to (FOI 6883).
This request was for: “information in relation to national statistics on litigation claims and damages in relation to ‘pressure ulcers’ (“Code 97”).
Specifically, I request information on the number of claims received by the NHS and a breakdown of claims closed with no damages paid, those closed with a damages payment, and the associated costs over the timeframe 2013/14 – 2023/24.
If possible, I would like a national overview of this data accompanied by a breakdown for each Trust.”
Would it be possible to receive this information again with the number of deaths associated with these claims?
