The number of claims against NHS Trusts in the last five years (Between April 6-April 5 2019-2024) for medical negligence where the primary speciality is ‘community mental health services’ or ‘psychiatry/mental health.’ Broken down by primary cause, by injury and by NHS Trust.
Number and Cost of Clinical Claims Closed (or settled with a periodical payment order) between financial years 2019/20, 2020/21, 2021/22, 2022/23, 2023/24, with a damages payments, where the speciality is ‘community mental health services’ or ‘psychiatry/mental health’. Can the data include the damages and legal costs paid up until the end of each financial year of closure, or for PPO matters, year of settlement. Broken down by primary cause, by injury and by NHS Trust.
