We are seeking information in respect of the last 4 years relating to the top 25 claimant law firms undertaking clinical negligence claims against NHSR. (…)
We would therefore be grateful if you would specifically provide information relating to the top 25 claimant law firms by volume of claims submitted in relation to the following:
- the number of claims in value across the value bandings £0-5,000, £5,000-£25,000, £25,000-£50,000, £50,000- £100,000, £100,000-£500,000, £500,000 -£1,000,000, £1,000,000 upwards;
- the total damages paid in accordance with the above value bandings;
- average profit costs per case in accordance with the value bandings;
- the percentage/rate of cases litigated in accordance with the value bandings;
- claimant firm costs (global costs inclusive of disbursements and VAT) relating to the value bandings;
- details of the share of volume represented;
- details of the share of damages; and
- details of the share of costs.
