This is not a FOI request but I am looking to clarify some data in the latest Annual Report Statistics 2024/25 and I don’t know who to contact and I wondered if you could help. Annual statistics – NHS Resolution

Sheet B has a breakdown by category but there is also data for this in the latest Annual Report itself. The percentages in the Annual Report do not coincide exactly with the numbers (if calculated as percentages) in the All Claims table in Sheet B. Annual Report percentages are slightly higher for the larger categories. For example, if you combine the 2 obstetrics categories in the Annual Report graph Figure 18 the percentage is 11.2% (10.1 + 1.1). In Sheet B combining the figures for obstetrics in lines 11 and 12 (239 and 1,047) and calculating this as a percentage of total claims (line 31) this comes to 8.9%.

Is there a reason for this or am I missing something?
