Important information for your IT Team

After launching Internet Explorer in 1995, Microsoft will be retiring its web browser Internet Explorer (version 11) from June 2022, in favour of the more powerful and modern Edge browser. In preparation, if your organisation uses our NHS Resolution Extranet, Claims Management and Document Transfer Systems, there are a few important changes your IT team will need to make before June 2022 to make sure these systems continue running for staff.

Please bring this message to the attention of your IT function.

What do IT teams need to do?

IT teams at member organisations and panel firms need to make sure the NHS Resolution Extranet, Claims Management and Document Transfer Systems run in Internet Explorer (IE) mode in Microsoft Edge to ensure these systems can continue running seamlessly for members of staff after June 2022.

To do so, IT teams need to list our sites (provided below) in an “Enterprise Mode Site List XML” to use Internet Explorer (IE) mode in Microsoft Edge:
